by Kathleen Luke
With a mix of science and mysticism, Kathleen Luke has outlined The Way of Soul as a path for wholeness. Following in the wave of Jungian and transpersonal psychology, she identified how the imagination and somatic practices combine to allow a person to feel a connection with soul. She investigates historical references of humansโ desire to feel and affirm this connection and explores scientific evidence of the energy that surrounds and penetrates the body, connecting us to the earth and the cosmos. Engaging with a Jungian-inspired practice of active imagination, she recounts exploring her inner landscape and meeting a guide who illuminated her own soulโs rich territory through wild and humorous imaginative antics. In her outer world she met a horse, Dancer, who taught her how to feel and open to the simple energetic exchange with the natural world. It is hoped that this memoir of Kathleenโs journey can inspire others to seek and feel a deep connection with soul.
