ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kayla James is an elementary teacher here in at a low-income school. Her husband had a Maine pet guinea pig when he was younger, and she decided it might be funny to tell the tale from the guinea pig’s point of view. She would love to do nothing more than to inspire her students and the future students she may teach. Kayla lives with her husband, their pet cat, Harper, and her stepson in southern Maine.
