Inn Mates is a lively chronicle of two Boston corporate escapees who dreamt of owning a luxury inn in Bar Harbor, Maine. The inn was a passion, sometimes a prison, while serving five-star hospitality to a parade of guests who taught them lessons of gratitude, humility, love, and laughter in the midst of lifeโ€™s hurricanes.

โ€œHugely entertaining! Brightly written and full of eye-popping tales of human frailty and hubris, this memoir reads like a suspense novel. I couldnโ€™t put it down.โ€

โ€”Monica Wood, author of The One-in-a-Million Boy, When We Were the Kennedys, and Any Bitter Thing

โ€œInn Mates is a beautifully written account of the innkeeping life. Hilarious and heartbreaking. Full of wisdom, wit, and whimsy. The best memoir Iโ€™ve read in a very very long time.โ€

โ€”Claudia Hunter Johnson, author of Stifled Laughter: One Womanโ€™s Story About Fighting Censorship, winner of the 2023 Best Book Awards in the Current Events category, and Hurtling Toward Happiness: A Mother and Teenage Sonโ€™s Road Trip From Blues to Bonding in a Really Small Car
