ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kermit Lipez is a senior judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, having served on that court since 1998. He previously served nine years as a judge on the Maine Superior Court and four years on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. He is also the author of Kenneth Curtis of Maine: Profile of a Governor.
