ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Tess Haskell grew up in Bartlett’s Harbor on North Haven, where she graduated the K–12 school and lobstered for her father—a true daughter of the islands, with family also coming from Vinalhaven and Matinicus. She now has five children. She loves being a mother and hopes to write more children’s books in the future.
