by Bryce E. Waldrop

In 1830s coastal Maine, ten-year-old Sally Moody wants nothing more than to defy her mother and become a fisherman. But when she steals a boat to prove herself, Sally makes a shocking discovery that will change her life. This is a story about a love of the sea, finding your purpose, family relationships, first crushes, and growing up in nineteenth-century Maine.
