ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Roger H. Greene has been a consulting forester for over 50 years and practiced forest management on large private and industrial ownerships. Formerly Chief Forester for the Northern Timberlands Division of St. Regis/Champion, he then operated his own consulting firm for 16 years. Most recently employed by Mason, Bruce & Girard, he retired in 2014 and currently manages a 4,500-acre forest in Maine.
