As a self-published author, you need to be aware of any legal issues or permissions that may need to be done prior to the printing of your book. We are not lawyers and cannot advise you on what is permissible. We do ask our editors to flag any potential problems that we will bring to your attention. Some issues can include using quotes (especially at the beginning of chapters), using lyrics from a song, photo, and/or violating a person’s privacy rights.
